Digia supplied R-Kioski with a financial administration system

The finnish retail chain R-Kioski was acquired by norwegian Reitan Convenience on May 2012. Along with the acquisition R-Kioski saw the need for a financial administration system, as the service management agreement with Sanoma was coming to an end. R-Kioski chose its long-time partner Digia to supply the new system.

Within the framework of a deepened relationship, Digia supplied R-Kioski with a new financial administration system, based on Microsoft Dynamics AX product. R-Kioski already had Digia @Hand terminal devices and Digia iSuite integration solution. R-Kioski has some 650 retail outlets in Finland.

We have been very happy with Digia as a supplier and we wanted to continue the co-operation,” says CIO Pentti Talikka from R-Kioski. “The project was implemented successfully within schedule and budget. The existing Digia iSuite solution accelerated the implementation. Microsoft Dynamics AX was a natural choice for us, as it’s widely used in retail industry.
