Digia SmartTab – more efficient customer management

Digia has launched a role-based Digia SmartTab application for tablet devices in Apple App Store. The application is designed to ease the everyday life of mobile workers by giving a real-time access to client information and system data. A full-featured demo is now available for download.

Digia has launched a role-based tool for Digia Enterprise ERP system users. Digia SmartTab is a mobile sales application, which gives real-time access to client information. The application is targeted especially for mobile workers interacting with customers, such as sales persons and product demonstrators.

Digia SmartTab is designed to enhance the mobile workforce activities and sales tracking. The application includes comprehensive search functions for browsing information about customers, products, orders and offers. It’s also possible to browse and save information and events in offline mode. The changes will be downloaded into the main system when the user goes online.

A user-friendly design makes the application suitable for different kinds of customer service situations. For example, in a sales situation with the aid of Digia SmartTab it’s possible to get real-time information from the ERP system about product pricing, discounts and availability. Order and offer processing can also be done directly with the mobile application.

Digia SmartTab can be easily integrated with other back-end systems using Web services standards. The application content can be suited to the client’s specific needs by bringing extra information and functions from external sources.

A demo with full features is available for download. The demo mode works with pre-installed content  without the possibility to connect into a back-end system. Digia SmartTab for iPad tablets can be downloaded from the App Store. The Android tablet version will be published later.
