Efficient and assured data transfer

Before the Digia PiccoLink Suite system the entries related to the supply chain were first written down to paper and then entered manually to SAP R/3 system in Vaarala’s unit. This meant that the same work was done twice, resources were used for this and errors were more likely.

Digia PiccoLink Suite does not use any buffer databases or conversitions of the entered data but the data transfers completely real-time straight into the company’s SAP R/3 ERP system. The diverse interface connections built into the PiccoLink Suite enable seamless information transfer.

Quick and easy to take into use

The threshold for taking the system into use has been very low. The users think that Digia PiccoLink Suite interface is simple to use - it does not include any unnecessary functions. The system was taken into the use very quickly and the personnel’s commitment to the new operations model has gone without any troubles. In solution there are used Nordic ID’s PiccoLink RF600 handheld terminals.
