March 16, 2012, St. Petersburg. Digia completed the project of the QlikView implementation in the fish processing holding "ROK-1".
"ROK-1" Group is an actively and dynamically developing manufacturing holding, one of the leaders of the Russian fish-processing industry. "ROK-1" provides a complete cycle of fish processing - from fish farming to its delivery to the end consumer. At present the Group’s enterprises employ more than 2000 people. The range of produced goods including more than 400 items is worth special notice.
The Business Intelligence solution based on QlikView, created by Digia, primarily intended for analysis and management of the products marginality. With the new solution the employees can quickly and efficiently identify the ways to increase sales. The analysis carried out in different context: by product type, by customers, by regions, and other indicators. During the project Digia has integrated QlikView with the geographical online maps. That provides “ROK-1” employees with user-friendly and intuitive tool for visual display of key performance indicators (KPIs) by different geographic sites.

QlikView implementation was a major step for us in the development of the existing analytical solution. We have chosen QlikView because of such features as powerful visualization tools, ability of usage on the mobile devices, as well as ease of reporting and finding answers to end users questions. Now the business analysis and decision-making have become easier and more accessible to a greater number of employees."
An important component of the project was to create QlikView analytical reports together with "ROK-1" IT-department employees to train IT-specialists in the development and administration of QlikView. For business users, QlikView also offers convenient tools for self-analysis in the different sections. Therefore, after passing the training company can independently develop BI-system, expanding its analytical capabilities and extending a new tool in other parts of the company.
