Digia now has a new audio identity

Winner of Digia's AudioDraft sound design contest has been selected. The winning entry was made by Epic Sound composer Asbjoern Andersen, who received a prize money of  USD 2,400.

The winning entry "Digia Days" (mp3) will form Digia's new audio identity, to be used for instance in Digia related events and as background music for Digia's customer case videos.

In total, over three hundred entries was left in the competition, many of them very high quality.

“Choosing the best of the best was not an easy task for us. All the four and five star entries in this competition could have been used as the Digia audio brand. I wish to thank all participants for their great work,” says Wilhelm Taht, Marketing Director from Digia, coordinating the competition.

“The winning track combined everything that the competition brief set forth. It has a warm organic, perhaps even analogue feeling in its sounds, yet created with highly technical production and great attention to detail. The song is a great representation of the Digia brand and will complement nicely the product marketing efforts that Digia embark on,” Taht describes.

The winning entry can be listened here. The Digia Days track is distributed and shared under the Creative Commons license.
