"Spreading the message of Qt technology in multicultural business environment."

I work as a Technical Trainer and Sales Engineer with Digia USA in Santa Clara, California. Operating globally, Digia has provided me a unique opportunity to apply my skills in various tasks all around the world. I've gladly accepted all the challenges and enjoyed my time in Digia.

I'm originally from Tampere, Finland, where I started working with Digia Training team in 2008. Before Digia I was teaching programming at Tampere University of Technology. I hold a M.Sc.(Tech) in Computer Sciences and along my work I'm pursuing towards my Ph.D in Computer Science Education.

Digia Training was an interesting work environment. Learning new technology and teaching it efficiently was demanding but rewarding. "See the world", they said. I did see it. I also met a great amount of people from different work cultures and many projects where I could apply my own skills and work. In a tighter spot, I could always rely on the huge amount of amazing professionals Digia employes.

After three years as a travelling family man I decided to settle down, internationally. Now I'm working with the Qt Commercial sales team for Americas in Santa Clara, California. My daily work duties consist of exactly what I like about my job: I get to discuss technology with customers, train developers and give presentations - to spread the message of Qt.
