Digia is a major software manufacturer and solution provider for Symbian OS and other mobile platforms. We have Symbian experience since it's creation in 1998. Customers can benefit from our experience and services in all stages of development whether it is an application or a smartphone development program. Digia services cover the whole product life cycle starting from concept and user interface design, extending all the way to software development, integration, testing and maintenance. We also offer training services and solutions for smartphone productivity, enterprise mobility and smartphone marketing.
Digia offers Symbian Signing and Symbian Signed for Nokia testing and certification services. Our emphasis is on fast lead times for test execution, which is clearly a significant factor for our customers. We see this through our customer's eyes - this is the final phase before launching the application. The customer has worked hard to get the application to this point and we continue pushing the application to be certified and ready for market.
Driver #1 – Minimize time for signing
Goal is to minimise testing and certification time. We value our customers time. Therefore we have optimised our internal coordination, handling and testing processes to provide signed application rapidly.
Driver #2 – Keep the customer informed
Digia will keep the customer well informed on test progress and of any deviations. Testing team provides the latest estimation of completion (i.e. when the application is signed) and informs without delay if errors are found. This enables the customer to immediately react to topics that require actions.
Driver #3 – Assist the customer
Digia will assist the customer in all areas to get the application signed. Digia testing team has a deep knowledge about the signing, common problems and solutions which will certainly benefit the customer without extra charges. To solve the customers most difficult problems Digia has a large pool of Symbian software specialists with years of experience of Symbian. Specialist support will be agreed separately.
