Point of sale system introduced in Digia Enterprise

    Digia and Crafthouse have signed a co-operation agreement which complements Digia solutions designed for specialty retail. This new solution combines Digia Enterprise ERP system with the Kassa.fi point of sale (POS) system by Crafthouse.

    Digia has extensive experience in supplying information system solutions for the value chain of trade, in particular for daily goods retail and wholesale trade. With the introduction of Kassa.fi, Digia's product range now includes a flexible and easy-to-use POS system designed to meet the needs of specialty retail and enabling the enhanced management of store routines, ranging from individual cash registers and everyday activities in the store all the way to store chain control and supply chain management.

    "When beginning our specialty retail development project last year, we immediately realised that the market needed a comprehensive retail management system covering activities from procurement to store activities and POS. For our customers, a single comprehensive system will generate benefits and bring a competitive edge, since they will be able to manage all goods flows using a single system and contact only one system supplier who is responsible for the entire solution. After a thorough assessment phase, we were convinced by Crafthouse's system and decided to select this Finnish company as our partner", explains Roy Nurmi, Director at Digia.
