SYSOPENDIGIA is delivering the 'Enterprise by SYSOPENDIGIA' enterprise resource planning (ERP) system to the Helkama-Auto group, wholesaler of car spare parts. This overall solution includes an ERP system with electronic interfaces to the inventory and, as a third-party service implementation, warehouse logistics, a Web shop, and SYSOPENDIGIA's iSuite integration solution. For the second phase of the delivery, it is the objective to also introduce SYSOPENDIGIA's Warehouse@Hand PDA solution to the warehouse operations. The system offers an integrated Web shopping solution for the dealers.
There will be approximately 20 local users of the ERP system, and approximately 100 dealers will use the Web shop. Daily routines in the warehouse will be performed in the future with the Warehouse@Hand PDAs.
Helkama-Auto Inc is Finland's importer of Škoda cars, spare parts, and accessories as well as the licence holder for AVIS car rental in Finland. Helkama-Auto also offers warehousing services and rents out warehouse and office premises. In 2005, they employed approx. 80 people and their turnover was 127 million euros.
