We regard it as increasingly important to harmonise our operating models and policies while both our business and staff are growing. Our quality management system describes our corporate policy on a process description basis in accordance with ISO 9001:2000, the key processes including Management, Sales, Service Provision and Human Resources Development.
Management
The management's primary duty is to ensure profitable business, while securing customer and job satisfaction according to the goals set by the company's Board of Directors. The company's Management Group is responsible for Group-level business planning, monitoring and development.
Sales
The management of each business unit is responsible for the unit's sales of services and products to their customers within specified industries, whereas the Management Group co-ordinates sales at Group level. The aim is the correct targeting of sales and the efficient planning and use of human resources.
Service Provision
Business units are responsible for the provision of services to customers as defined in separate service and process descriptions. Service performance and reporting procedures are based on working instructions and practices jointly agreed with the customer, while service quality monitoring is based on customer feedback surveys, adhering to evaluation procedures, carried out on a regular basis. These aim to provide service on time, keep within cost targets and achieve an outcome free from defects.
Human Resources Development
The Management Group is responsible for the Group-level co-ordination of human resources development, while each business unit ensures its implementation together with the Human Resources and Training unit. Knowledge of the expected future focus and shift in demand for various services is the starting point for human resources development. Against this background, the aim is to direct Digia's competencies and recruitment towards selected focus areas by planning service portfolio refocus and developing human resources.
